PLS Chicago Champions:
Founders of the PLS Chicago shortly before the first captains’ meeting (August 18, 2005). Lots of things have changed since then… but our love of the game remained the same.

At the final game of our second season (March 18, 2007). Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Chicago accepted our invitation to be the Honorable Patron of PLS Chicago Finals.

Our special guest during the first season (2005/2006) was a former two time European Champion and a head coach of the Polish Women’s National Volleyball team, Mr. Andrzej Niemczyk.

History
PLS Chicago History in Brief:
- Summer 2004 – Preliminarily work is done in order to launch the volleyball league in Chicago.
- August 2005 – PLS Chicago is established, a not-for-profit organization promoting volleyball by hosting leagues and tournaments.
- 8 January, 2006 – PLS commences its first season.
- 26 March, 2006 – Integra beats Russian Bears and becomes the first PLS champion.
- August 2006 – Number of teams participating increases to 14.
- 4 November, 2006 – PLS commences its second season.
- 28 February, 2007 –Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Chicago becomes an official patron of 2006/2007 PLS Finals.
- 18 March, 2007 – Chicago White Eagles beats Galaxy Flooring and becomes the indisputable winner of the 2006/2007 season.
- 21 October, 2007 – PSL commences its third seasons.
